i have been having problem with my DSL connection, sometime the computer
pop up a message saying no modem found and then the connection dead,
when i try to reconnect my username in the dialog box is altered. it is
normally username@streamyx but now it was [email protected]. I feel
that this may be cause by the program
C:\WINDOWS\system32\golumm\services.exe, i just installed a firewall the
first it ask wheter to block or allow services.exe to connect to the
internet, i permit it and the connection is dead. How can i remove the
file and also twink64.exe?

Who is providing your DSL service? This information is need if the group is
to help you. I, too, had DSL service provided by my local telephone
company. It worked fine for 2 months, then I started having connectivity
problems. After calling back and forth to technical support trying to get
the problem solved, I discontinued my DSL service and switched to cable
modem. No longer experiencing any problems.
