Norton anit-virus popup window is telling me that DSBrws.exe is
attempting to access the internet but I can't find out what this
program is. Googling, Dejanewsing, etc. report no hits.

Anybody know what this is?

TIA.

Please submit "DSBrws.exe" to Virus Total --
http://www.virustotal.com/flash/index_en.html
The submission will then be tested against 18 different AV vendor's scanners.

Another way to submit is to send the suspect file to the following email address
scan<at>virustotal.com
{ replace <at> with @ } with only the word SCAN as the subject.

Please post back the EXACT results.

"No virus found." Looks like it's some sort of Dell diagnostic or
updating program that phones home on some schedule. Funny it hasn't
been mentioned before.

One of the *many* reasons I don't like factory installed OS's. I prefer to install from
scratch. In the business environment, install from scratch, install all default
applications, sysprep and Ghost the platform.
