dsa.msc-> Sending To Home Folders Takes Longer Time!!

When I send a file to the mapped folder (home folder), it takes longer time
than just typing the unc path and sending the file that way. Even though Its
the same folder!!!!

Ex. 700mb to mapped folder (home folder) = 30min.......700mb to unc path
(SAME FOLDER) = 5min

Why is that?

Is it b/c Its has to communicated to the active directory, all the time?

I have no other issues with the server, & dsa is working 100% normal

Is the mapped share using DFS?
