I have 2 Windows 2000 domain controllers and 2 Windows NT
BDCs. I have upgraded the Windows 2000 DCs with Service
Pack 4 and now I am getting event 4097 in the Application
Event Log and the server restarts:

The application, lsass.exe, generated an application error
The error occurred on 01/28/2004 @ 09:46:16.546 The
exception generated was c0000005 at address 757B5954
(DsaEnableUpdates)

The problem does NOT manifest itself simultaneously on
both servers.

Any suggestions?

We had the same problem and this patch fixed our issue,

However, then we noticed a memory leak to lsass.exe and
had to reboot the server about every month. We applied
the following patch to fix that issue

I have the same problem. It doesn't seems right to pay for a patch to aproblem that Microsoft have created in first place in SP4! So are any free solutions for this problem?
