Dropping the internet connection

I keep losing internet connectivity. When I run diagnostics, it says I have
a winsock catalog error and asks me if I want to repair winsock. I do and I
have to reboot and when it comes back up I keep connectivity for about
twennty miutes and lose it again. Any great ideas?

Increase the holdover time on the modem I imagnine you
have, as you obviously wish me to do.
