Dropping Comcast Network Connection

I'm mysteriously dropping my Comcast network connection from time to time.
I have to do an arp -d * to restore it. It happens once a day or so. Does
anyone have an insight on why this is happening or even what it mean?
 
Check to see if you have power management enabled for your
nic.
-Find your NIC under network adapters in the device
manager.
-Go to properties and then the power management tab.

Not it but your suggestion shows good insight. I stumbled on that a while
back and made sure it wasn't shutting down network connection already.
This problem is really weird and I've done selective startups and knocked
out everything. I even shut down Zone Alarm Pro for a day to see if it was
doing it. MSMessenger doesn't seem to be the cause either?
