A friends computer was last night infected with Dropper.Inor.N (alerted by
AVG free edition). The comp was infected while browsing web sites (he said
at one point a site tried to search for a video codec which is when I
suspect the infection occurred). After the alert by AVG he ran the AVG
virus test which removed the file found in the IE5 temporary internet files
directory. I have been unable to find any information on this virus, so
does anyone know about it?

Thanks
Ted

Doesn't seem like the PC was affected since the dropper was deleted. I
found no info on the .N variant but you can find descriptions of Inor
such as the one here:

http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_100598.htm

Use Project VGREP:

http://www.virusbtn.com/resources/vgrep/index.xml

to search for alias names other vendors use. If you search there for
just dropper.inor you'll find a wide variety of alias names and from
there possibly some descriptions may be found which might be helpful.
