On a network with approx. 15 computers (11 W2k, 3 NT4, 1 XPpro) and a
Windows 2003 Server.(configured as a domain controller) The W2k and NT4
boxes connect to the server just fine. The XP box connects (mapped drive
and printer), but will drop the connection after setting idle for a period
of time (exact time unknown, but at least 30 minutes). This results a long
delay in accessing data (or even a directory listing) on the mapped drive.
Is there a way that I can prevent this dropping of connection or at least
set the length of time before it does so?
