How do I set Windows XP to display the full contents of the drop-down menu instead of arrows

Assuming you mean hovering over the All Programs on the Start Button?, then
if my understanding of what you ask is correct then I am puzzled as to why
you would want to do this, wouldn't all of the programmes and sub programmes
overlap each other, that or the list would be huge (presuming you have say
ten programs or more?

In answer to your question though, I don't know if it can be done.

Yes, I am talking about hovering over the Programs, although, it is also prevalent on the drop-down menus for individual applications as well. On another PC that I work on, also Windows XP Professional, the drop-down menus are fine, therefore, I believe it is doable, but I am not familiar enough with Windows XP to know the fix
