im working with frontpage2000 and on my index.html page,
ive inserted a "drop-down menu" that allows you to write
multiple choices and confirm it by a "side-kick" button
like "go" (go to that link). HOW DO I EDIT "HYPERLINKS"
TO EACH WORD WRITTEN IN THE DROP-DOWN MENU WINDOW, BEFORE
I HIT THE "GO" BUTTON ???

I am trying to do the same thing. I don't think FrontPage
has this capability. It's called Jump Menu. But there is
supposed to be a jumpURL component that you can use. I am
looking for Jim Cheshire's post to get details. Please
let me know what you come up with. Thanks Kate.

Download the SDK from the following URL:

http://fpsdk.frontpagelink.com

After you do that, you'll have the jumpURL component. Instructions are
there for how to configure it. They might be a little hard to understand.
I will have full instructions in my book (releasing in November of this
year) and will try to add instructions to my Web site prior to that time.

Jim,
Bless your heart, it works and so easy too! Thank you so
much for your help, your input saved me time, headache,
and money. I didn't have to put out a red cent (which is
unheard of these days for something you're looking for),
I accomplished what I needed to, and don't have to wait
and buy FP2003 (not anytime soon anyways). I will have to
forward this to my developer friends.
Thanks Again.

It is pretty cool. If you're interested, my book (which will release in
November) will cover how to create your own Web components like this, and
it's very easy.

Glad to help!
