I have created simple drop down lists in Excel - this
allows you to choose ONE option. Does anyone know how to
create drop down lists that allow more than one option to
be chosen?

Debra Dalgleish has a web page on creating a drop down list from another
drop down list.
If this is what you're refering to, try this link:

By using a List Box (as opposed to a Combo Box), you can select multiple entries. Right click on the list box and select Format Control. On the Control tab, select "Multi" under Selection Type. When you do this however, Excel ignores the "Cell Link" reference, so I don't know how you would access the user's selection for use in a formula. It may be possible using an Active X control and a macro, but that is a bit over my head so I can't help you there

Alternatively, you could use multiple Combo Boxes if the user is only going to choose a small number of the entries.
