Drop Down Boxes

how can I hide Drop-Down Boxes in a worksheet? I recently
put together a spreadsheet that have several rows and I
only want the drop down box to function when the cell is
selected. Currently all cells have the drop down boxes
visiable which I do not want. I came across a
spreadsheet some time ago where I saw this function, but
can't recall where and how it was done. Please assist

You can use Data>Validation to create a dropdown lists in a cell. There
