I CREATED DATA VALIDATION LISTS AND THE DROP DOWN ARROW APPEARS ON MY COPY. I SAVE IN A PUBLIC FOLDER AS BOTH "WORKBOOK" AND "97-2003 WORKBOOK" SO USERS CAN OPEN ONE OR THE OTHER DEPENDING ON WHICH VERSION OF EXCEL THEY HAVE.

THE DROPDOWN ARROW GIVING USERS OPTIONS TO SELECT FROM DO NOT APPEAR IN OTHER USERS' SCREEN WHEN THEY OPEN EITHER OF THE FILES.

WHAT ELSE COULD THE ISSUE BE?

THANKS

Jesus ****ing christ! Turn off caps lock. This isn't the 80's any more.

Maybe OP will figure out that the eye strain caused by continuous
reading of uppercase (well noted/documented) will ruin one's eyesight.
Or maybe OP won't figure that out!!!

WHAT IS THIS "UPPERCASE" YOU MENTION? AND WHAT ARE THOSE FUNNY SMALL SYMBOLS
BETWEEN YOUR LETTERS? ;-)

(I'm not making fun of you in particular, "dgoodwin".)

I was referring to what you get when Caps Lock is on. I don't see any
funny small symbols between my letters, but reading your reply does
hurt my eyes some, and elevates fatigue. (That's what the Labor Board
says will happen, and my experience as an employer concurs!)<g>
