Hi

From an application I drag'n drop an image onto a powerpoint presentation,
however the image is quite large 94cm x 45cm 72dpi, so it takes up a lot of
space in my presentation.

Is there a 'drop complete event' in powerpoint that I can hook into,
changing the image size when the drop is complete??

TIA

Søren

Hi Soren,

you will get better results if you don't insert your images via drag&drop.
Save them as JPG or PNG files. Adjust the size to 800x600 to 1500x1128
pixels (depending on size and quality you need) before saving. Then insert
via Insert - Image - From file.

If you ask for an "event" - do you want to insert pictures programmatically?

Hi Ute

What I have is a small plugin for powerpoint, which is able to browse a
database fro images. The user is then able to select an image and Drag'n
Drop it onto a powerpoint presentation. The problem however is that the
image is inserted in it's full size. What I would like is to hook into an
event 'Drop complete I guess' so that I'd be able to adjust the image
properties afterwards.
I'd like the users to be able to drag'n drop the images, so saving the files
and inserting them is not going to work...unless I can mimic drag'n drop
somehow.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA
Søren
