Is it possible to kill or diasable the DRM in vista?

Yes, almost certainly, but it would require fundamentally modifying things
that may destroy your OS. Why are you interested?

DRM is a losing proposition in the first place. Without hardware support for
it someone will always be able to disable it.

Furthermore, discussing (yes, just discussing) this kind of things might be
prohibited by laws, severely fined, prosecuted as crime etc.

Bullsh*t

What do you mean by "disable the DRM"?

Do you mean that you want to play protected movies without satisfying the
movies' producers' requirements for proving ownership? (i.e. 'crack' the
DRM, so that the formerly-protected movies are no longer protected)

Or do you mean that you want to only view already-unprotected movies without
any drain on performance caused by running DRM code?

Alun.
