Excuse me for my bad english, i want to know how can i
deny the access to drives (floppy and CDROM) to a USER on
win2000. On PC is running an application then wants the
administrative rights so the user MUST to have them. A
solution could be to deny the access on desktop and START
menù giving the perimission only to the application but i
don't know how to do. Can you help me?
Thank you!

If the user must have administrator rights on that PC, you can't really lock
them out of the CD or floppy.

*If* there were something you could set to block them, they have
administrator rights, they could undo what you set.

I think your only option is to remove them from the computer.

Run this app in a virtual machine. Give it admin rights in the VM...
