Once more please, this time in English! What have drivers got to do
with Office XP?

Hi,

Drivers are installed when the operating system is installed (for the most
part). Whether you install additional drivers for things like a printer or
other add-on hardware, or update a driver to a manufacturer's more recent
release, before or after installing Office is up to you.

Drivers are code that enable the operating system to communicate with
specific hardware. Installing Office XP does not depend on drivers.

To install Vista follow the instructions that come with it. After it is
installed you may need to install specific drivers for your system's
hardware so check with the manufacturer of your hardware components to see
if they have Vista Ready drivers. For example if your printer doesn't work
with Vista then it won't work with Office XP on a Vista system. In this case
you will need to visit the Printer's manufacturer's site to look for Vista
drivers for it.
