I can not find the drivers for either one of these devices. I have heard that
I might find the SB Live on windows update unfortunately I don't have a NIC
that works. Amazing there were only about 50 Million of both these pieces of
hardward sold and no one thought to put drivers in for them????

Looking at the soundblaster site, it is indicated that there are no plans to
make Vista drivers for SB Live (except the 24 bit version)

Kinda sucks.

Although I do have sound from the windows default drivers. (I've got a SB
Live!)

This driver presented some what slightly more of a challenge. To install a
driver for this card you will need to download the latest drivers for XP from

http://uk.europe.creative.com/suppo...ric=1972&Product_Name=Live!&OSName=Windows+XP

These come in the form of an .exe installer which will not run however if
you open this .exe with WinZip and extract all of the files to a folder you
are then able to manually install the drivers from this location. This
however this process does not install the game port driver which is listed as
a PCI Input Device in the device manager. Once this driver is installed if
you run windows update it will download and install a newer driver. But again
the game port will fail to install properly (it get's detected as a game port
but will not work).

:)

I was able to find the 3 Com Nic Drivers for XP and those worked for getting
my networking going. I went to Windows update and they had the drivers for
the Sound Blaster Live on the update. I still need the drivers for the
Creative SBLive Game Port I am going to try the ones for XP. Thanks for the
help guys.

How can I access the Windows Update website?

I tried so many times, but it gets me to the program.

I'm trying to get the drivers for the my SB Live!.

Creative are NOT going to support the Live! in vista they have no plans to do
a vista driver. The XP driver works as I described above apart from the game
port. The sound works perfectly
