OK, I've spent hours in Google looking for a stinking driver that will work for
an ATI Mach 64 GX with Windows 2000 Pro.......

I don't need it to do ANYTHING special, or interesting. JUST WORK at a decent
refresh rate and screen resolution...

SOMETHING better than 800X600 with 16 colors... 1024X768 would be ok if I can
get a decent color depth and refresh rate...

I KNOW this is old hardware but there's GOTTA be a driver out there somewhere
'cause Microsoft INSISTS that I can use the one on the 2000 CD... I CANNOT FIND
IT... So, if there's actually a set of drivers on the 2000 pro disk can
somebody tell me how to find THAT?

Now I'm REALLY confused...

I pulled the video card from another machine and put it in the machine that
couldn't find the drivers for the Mach 64. Worked fine with the new card.

SO, I put the Mach 64 in the other machine that HAD BEEN working fine......
Booted up Windows 2000 Pro and it happily found the video card, and installed
fine. I was able to select a 1024X768 display and it works fine...

I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO PUT THE CD IN...

What the heck is going on? How come one machine FOUND the card, and the other
didn't? How come one happily loaded the drivers and the other didn't?
