I'm receiving this error message (on the big blue screen)
when trying to boot up. I just recently installed a cable
modem. I'm getting various other Windows error messages
but, I'm trying to avoid reinstalling Windows. My pc
likes to randomly restart itself and I can't determine the
cause. Has anyone heard of this message or know what
could be causing this OS conflict? Any info. would be
helpful. Thanks!

See MVP Jim Eshelman's web page for STOP errors at

link in the left side column.

Good luck
