I've never used this tool, but would like to use it to track down a driver causing a blue screen. If a driver is checked using Driver Verifier and a blue screen appears on a restart, how do I reset Verifier if theoretically, the blue screen will continue to appear while the faulty driver is checked? Must I go into safe mode to reset the Verifier? If so, what if the driver is still loaded in safe mode - won't I still blue screen even when trying to go into safe mode? I don't want to get into a situation where I have a solid blue screen that I can't get out of. Thank you for your help. Also, is there another tool that I could use to find a bad driver other than Driver Verifier? Thanks again.

What is the blue screen error? Are you certain it's a driver issue? RAM
problems, for example, can have very similar symptoms, Have you recently
updated any drivers?

To "reset" Verifier you would click Start, Run and in the box enter:

verifier /reset

Click OK.

There is probably enough information on your BSOD to figure this out
and the number of BSOD issues that come through these forums are
frequent and sometimes easy to fix when the information is provided.

What will you do next if Verifier reports something?
