driver up dates questions

I have in my desktop links these listed nvidia and realtek of which both show a long list I also went to driver detective after a scan the scan showed me of my drivers of 11 out of date , 2 devices with no drivers, 19 up to date drivers and 11 system drivers can anyone advise me how do i up date my out of date drivers ? does windows up- date do this
 
Go into Device manager and update your drivers from there..Quite often Driver scans are nothing but a con..You go online and check and it tells you, you have x amount of outdated drivers, then they try charge you £xxx to use their software to update them, all for nothing casue the drivers were correct to start with..
 
i looked in device manger and clicked on disk drives where it showed the option to up date my drivers I take it i have to put in the cd rom that came with my computer? the other option was to scan for hard ware changes can you advise ?

No need to insert CD, click on the option to update and you'll conect to the internet and it willlook for updates...
