that is the message on the blue screen .

i am having a problem and i cant figure it out. how do i know what driver.
i belive that there is a hard drive problem but i havent figured out which
one. i have 2 hard drives. one seagate and one western digital

thanks

If I take that error message literally; Windows is telling you that the
drive's power feed failed while it was in operation.
Check the cables to your drives for faults, and make sure that your PSU
can provide enough power to your entire system.
Power hungry graphics cards may require bigger PSU's.

hmm, havent thought of that. i have been having loads of problems. they are
posted in the vista general discussion.
my computer guy seems to think it could be a drive or the mother board ,
my computer is only 7 months old though and a powerful system. i have 2
nvidea gforce., ill tell him. he was going to wipe off the c drive and
reload vista to see if that helps ..

you seem to be on the same thought process as my computer guy. but he found
no updates for the chipset . he too thought they were the problem

i already updated the video cards and that did stop some other problems.
