driver irql not less or equal

I've recently got an unstable new pc that crashes frequently with the error
message "irql not less or equal".

I suspect now after further investigations and other related error messages
that the offending driver is probably attscap.sys. What does this driver
drive? and what do I do next?

Hi,

That error message indicates a driver issue. Troubleshooting it can be
lengthy. Check that your hardware and the drivers for it meet the
compatibility list:
