Hi NG,

if i understand it right, Omega-Drivers support all mobile Ati-solutions.
Mobility M10 and drivers from the notebook-manufacturer for it is current.
On top of that I use Hydravision.

Now, before I try the new Omega driver, I thought it might be a good idea to
ask you guys what kind of surprises you would expect when doing so
wrt Hydravison or maybe wrt something else.

Thanks for kind advise if its worth giving it a try.

question: Why? Are you currently experiencing problems with game play? If not, and everything is working, count your blessings and
leave well enough alone. MHO

Thanks,
no game problems at all (the only game i am playing on the notebook is chess
sometimes which is not sooo grafics intensive :-)
But i have an issue with the settings for multimonitorsupport in the
driver/softwareversion I use currently.
Otherwise I would not have even thought on fixing sth not broke.

Thanks,
KF

the omegas are 'game enhanced' versions of the driver.... it will not effect multi monitor scenario..

JAD,
hmm, i thought Omegas are based on the latest Hyperion-version, which I
hoped could have MM-settings fixed. Now, I cannot go for the latest
Hyperion,
because these wont work on the Mobility, wheras Omegas do. Did I get this
wrong?

Thanks,
KF

I have never seen anyone here mention the multimonitor fixes...always refereed to as 'gaming drivers'. I have used them once, they
did not improve much on a AIW (but then AIW is not a 'gaming'card persay). AAMOF, they broke capture. I looked over the site quickly
and couldn't find the 'features/fixes list.

"Remember that I do this as a free service, to make life more enjoyable for gamers, but if you want to donate please click below."

This quote is the only thing I could find, along with praises from ATI.....................

Oh BTW omega people think we should all give into XP TCPA and won't be supporting ME /98 stating that XP has advantages over 9x in
gaming....
