Driver from update

I had Nvidia driver 7.8.8 Vista update gave me a new driver. I could not find
out how to tell what the new driver was until it was installed. The new
driver was 6.14.10 ? How do i confirm the update before i install.The only
info it gave me was the date and what it was for.

I don't know the answer -- but Vista lets you "revert the driver to a
previous version" which is pretty nifty. (I've never done it, so I
hope it works ;o) From the Device Manager you can double-click on your
video card and use the revert driver tool from there.

I've never had good luck allowing windows UPDATE to do any driver
updates. Much better to go to the manufacturers web site and get the
driver updates from there and install them properly.
