I have an Epson ES-600c scanner in excellent shape, however I don't have a
driver to make it work in Windows XP.

Does anyone in this group know where I can obtain such a driver, if one
exists?

TIA

Jeb

What that is available can be found here:

Drivers & Downloads: (Windows)
There is not a Windows 2000 or Windows XP driver for the ES-600C.
It may be possible to get the TWAIN Driver v2.51A to work. (no guarantee).

Be aware that Windows XP does not do well with Parallel Port Scanners.(May
not work at all. Not supported by XP).

It may be possible to get this scanner to work in Windows XP with a SCSI
interface.
If you have a SCSI interface for that scanner, you must install ASPI from
Adaptec to have a change of getting the ES600C to work in Windows XP.

Read the FAQs on this scanner. Especially No. 3. (Windows XP is based on
Windows 2000 which is based on Windows NT 4.0) (Windows XP SP2 is NT version
5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600).
3. How do I setup the parallel port to work with the scanner?

That scanner is too old and low resolution (300DPI) to be practical. It
would be cheaper in the long run to get a modern A4 Photo scanner with ADF
that connects with USB.

This is Epson's page on Scanners.
