My Creative DVD-ROM 16X reads CD's just fine but when I
try to play a DVD I get a message that says the current
driver is imcompatable with the operating system. I had
98se, then XP befroe I went to 2000pro. The DVD worked
under those OS's. The message I get telling me that the
drove is imcompatable suggest that I go to hardware-
update.com for a compatapbel driver. I have uninstalled
the CD drive to the extent of physically unplugging it
from the system, cold booting to insure that the computer
no longer see the drive then reinstalling it with the
drivers on the 2000 disk; still the DVD dosen't work.
Does anyone have any suggestions shor of replacing a
perfetly good drive?
