Driver files missing on startup

I have a HP Pavilion 7955 that I purchased in September
2001. Windows XP Home Edition was preloaded. I have
regularly updated the software. I recently began getting 4
or 5 messages on startup that say various dll files did
not load. I can x out of those dialog boxes and the
computer seems to run normally. Windows Update scans my
system and says there are no driver files to download.
Where can I find and download those files?

Dll files are not drivers - they're program libraries. I wouldn't be
surprised if you have adware on your machine. Post back with the names of
the dll files. Or even better: Search for them on the Internet and find out
for yourself.
