Drive Or Folders Open in "Search Companion" Instead Of "Open"

I am using XP (home) for the first time. I have been
changing the settings to customize it for me. One of the
settings I changed causes drives or folders to open
in "Search Companion" instead of a list of the contents
of that drive or folder.

Example: If I go to Start, My Computer, Local Disk (C:)
the window opens in Search Companion/Search Results
(which I usually get to by Start, Search) instead of a
list of folders and files of the drive.

I can read the contents of the drive or folder by RIGHT
CLICKING on the drive or folder. From the menu that
opens I can choose the second item on the list which
is "Open". (The first item on the list is "Search" which
is in bold.)

Anyone know what setting I "messed with" to open
in "Search" instead of "Open"?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Wow, thanks Doug! I downloaded the filed you suggested
and it now works properly. That was very nice of you to
give me the fix. Thanks again.
