When I put a blank dvd into my r drive to write to it I get the error
message r:\is not accessible. Incorrect function. It just started happening.
Everything I have found on the web is about roxio cd reader and windows xp.
I have neither. I have fully updated windows 2000 and I use nero 6. I am
able to move files from the r drive but when I try to move files to the r
drive it appears they move but when I click on the r drive to see what is on
it I get the error message.. I appreciate any help you can give me.

Could be quite a few reasons. First of all does your dvd drive play dvds
ok? If not r. click my computer, click properties/hardware/device
manager. Highligh and open Dvd Drive icon and check that Win2k is still
recognising the drive. If all is well, try formatting and writing to a
blank CD. Does this work?
