Drive mapping issues with user profiles

Some of our users are mapping their home drive using their user profiles.
For some reason it would map just fine and then after a few weeks, it'll map
to
the share folder where their home folder is located. I've disconnected their
home drive and re-logged in to have the drive remap itself. Then it'll
happen again a few weeks later. Any ideas or heard of this? Thanks!
