Drive mapped to a Samba share does not reconnect after standby

If anyone can assist it would be very helpful.

Problem:
I have mapped a drive to a Samba share on a Unix server in
Windows 2000.
After waking the system from standby at times the mapped
drive does not reconnect and gives an error: "local device
name is already in use" Other mappped drives connected to
Windows 2K servers are fine. It does not appear to be a
problem on the server side as other systems tested do not
exhibit this problem.

Any ideas or clues regarding this?

Thanks!

I have similar issue in NT4 and W2k. I think it is the timeout setting on the Samba config file. So I scheduled a bat file to refresh the drive every 5 min. Hope this help.
