Drive letter changes

I installed a new hard drive. The copy went fine, but now
how do I assign the new drive letter C: ?
I can boot from both drives now, and when I change the
drive letter with the Disk Administrator XP re-assigns the
old one C: again... Can't seem to figure out how to make
the new drive C:

you can't change the C: letter. if you dont have XP installed on the C
drive either reinstall on to the C drive or purchase a program like Drive
Copy and copy over from one partition to your C
