I have a WD 250 Gb drive partitioned as C and D. I have a Sony 16x
internal burner as E. I installed a 2nd drive which is also 250 GB
but it is assigned as F. My board is an ASUS P5GD1. Is there any
way to change the second drive to E and the burner to F? My system
is WinXP Pro. Any help will be appreciated.

Yes, change the burner to something like G, in Disk Management, right click
on the physical drive, select the 'change drive letter' entry in the popup menu.

Then do that with the new drive, changing it to E

You can change the burner to F then if you want to.

Do a right click on My Computer there you will find manage. Click on
that and you will find Disk Management from there follow Rod's
directions.
