I have a set up with the follwing:

CD-RW
LG DVD-RW drive DVD-RAM

Within my computer, and the device manager, a device called "Generic
STEALTH DVD SCSI CdRom Device"
What the heck is this? It remains whether the drives are physically
attached or not. Is it some form of virtual drive related to the software?

TIA

It's probably created by your cd/dvd writing software. These
devices allow you to work with an image file (.iso etc) as though
the cd/dvd were in a normal drive or may be used by packet writing
software like InCD etc.

I was kind of wondering whether it was a virtual drive or not. I fell
out of the industry a couple years ago, and alot has changed since....
Thanks
