Hi,
One of my drives (E:) is setup like a pictures folder (in
XP) and I want to disable that. I tried the usual
View>Customize Folder, but the Customize Folder option
isnt there since it a drive not a folder... Heeelp, I
dont want my drive setup like that

thanks

Not sure what you mean. I guess what you see is thumbnail view of the
folders for this drive. To change don't click on View. Click on the last
icon on the right on the bar below it. Change from thumbnails to list or
details.

Set Folder Options> View to show hidden files and to *not* hide system
protected files. Then click on E: in Windows Explorer and look for a
"desktop.ini" file in this root folder. If found, delete it. Click off of
E: and then back again. The customization should be gone.

Hi, what I meant is that the E: drive thinks it is a
picture folder with all the added things that come with
it (like the picture watermark at the bottom right corner
and picture file option on the left hand side).
I tried what Sharon mentioned but there was no
desktop.ini in that particular drive.
Any ideas?

thanks
