"memory won't download"??? I've heard of downloading files, programs, and
virii but if you ain't got it plugged into a box, you ain't gonna download
memory --- at least I don't think transporters are possible.
Ahhh ... clarity dawns ... took long enough to understand such an
illiterate query ... here's what you REALLY meant ...
"I bought a new computer and I want to use the memory in my old computer in
the new one. To do that I purchased new memory boards and populated them
with the chips from the old computer. But the new system does not see this
memory. Can anyone?"
Some where along the way you could have had a static discharge and fried one
or more of the chips. The chips don't work in that board, or the new CPU
won't see that kind of memory. Any or all of these.
