Thanks to a faulty backup program which was supposed to BACK UP info
overnight, apparently has dropped one of my 3 drives.
Along with dropping my applications programs, it also took most all of my
documents, and vanished.
Is there any way I can gain that drive again, and the info with it ?

I have tried System Restore, and, as always, fails to do anything except
shutting the pc down and powering up and then notifying it can't go back.

Any info appreciated

Only a drive recovery system may help.

Leonard ..
Thanks for replying ..
All I ever get from the program's email site is .. "no program located"
I've tried the virus scan, the spy and the AD programs and didn't locate
anything

smlunatick..
Thanks to you also ..

You mentioned a "drive recovery system"..
Do you know of some programs that would have this program ..
Freeware ..? hope, but
Purchuse if cost ??
At this point, I'm ready to try anything.

TestDisk : http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk

File Scavenger: http://www.quetek.com/prod02.htm (free for small
files.)

Most any other utilities will / should give you a "scanning" method
ofr free. If you can locate your files, then you could consider the
cost of buying the recovery module.
