Can I upload a FrontPage website and edit it in Dreamweaver? So far, after
copying the code and pasting it into code view, I am not able to make
changes.
 
This would be a very dangerous thing to do if the FP site uses anything
requiring FP server extensions (guestbook, form processing, etc.).

Why do you want to do this?

Yes if you are prepared to loose FrontPage Server extension functionality
assuming you had it in the first place.
Another way round is to use FrontPage to upload your site but use DW to edit
the local version. Just keep out of any _private directories.
