Dreaded Trusts...

Hi folks,

I have to build a bidirectional trust between two domains of different
forests.

Domain 1: BSAG
Domain 2: TPSDOMAIN

If I try to setup a trust on TPSDOMAIN then the error comes up "RPC Server
unavailable".

On BSAG I can setup the trusts w/o probs.

The following LMHOSTS are defined:

DC TPSDOMAIN:

# IP Address "123456789012345*7890"

192.168.1.3 "BSAG \0x1b" #PRE
192.168.1.3 BSS00001 #PRE #DOM:bsag
192.168.1.6 BSS00002 #PRE #DOM:bsag

DC BSAG:

# IP Address "123456789012345*7890"

192.168.1.27 "TPSDOMAIN \0x1b" #PRE
192.168.1.27 APP-HONEYWELL #PRE #DOM:TPSDOMAIN

All DC can be pinged.
There is no router between the systems.

Got any idea?
 
I found the following in the MSDN:

1.. In the DNS Manager, right-click Forward lookup zone, and then click
New Zone.
2.. In the New Zone Wizard, click Next.
3.. Under Zone Type, click Standard secondary, and then click Next.
4.. Type a name for the zone, and then click Next.
5.. Type the IP address of the DNS zone that you want to add.
6.. Confirm the information, and then click Finish.

I can setup the zone but I get an error when opening the zone: "Zone not
loaded by DNS Server."
