Just turned on my main PC this appeared WTF grrrrrr

No reason whatsoever. Complete correct shutdown and nothing installed for weeks

Anyone no a quick resolve save me messing around for hours?

chkdsk /f /r
or/and
Boot from the win 10 DVD and do a repair install.

Download Win 10 ISO 64bit here

TaaMucks but it's Windows 7

Tried repair from system install disk but got an error telling me it wasn't for my version of windows :confused:Need to get manual out for MB because safemode on my board is not on F8

"safe mode" should be F8, sometimes you need to 'hit the key' at the right time

chkdsk works for all Windows versions, and, 'repair instal' is the same on Win 7

time for a Win 10 upgrade  ;) you can still get it for free :)

Nah nothing worked, Repair kept telling me incorrect version of windows and F8 wouldnt allow access to boot modes. Very strange.

I did read about disconnecting drives so I did that, still wouldnt work.

While case was open I decided to strip GFX card and clean it. Put it all back in and turned on for one last go, it booted...GRRRRRR. Reconnected all drives and it booted again. So no I really am at a loss lmao.

Seems ok at present. Need to do a reinstall I think it's been about 4years tbh
