Drawing Figures in PPT 2003

I can see that I can draw figures like those of Word, triangles, arrows,
boxes, etc. The Draw tool bar looks almost identical. Is it possible to
copy figures or groups of figures from Word into PPT?

Additionally, can I draw many sided polygons, say 12 sides? Are they
available somewhere, or is the limit 8, octagon?
