Using Draw to show rectangles via autoshape how is it then possible to
import to those rectangles things like graphics, clip art etc?
Thanks

Hi, John,

Right-click the AutoShape and select Add Text. Then you can use the Insert >
Picture menu to insert a graphic instead of, or in addition to, plain text.

Excellent. TVM.

Another option --- use the FILL EFFECTS option on the FILL COLOR menu -- to
insert a picture... no need to change the shape to a "text box" first.
Also -- the effect will be different if you use shapes such as a star or
heart.

In recent versions of Word, you can add a picture as fill. Click the arrow
beside the Fill Color button on the Drawing toolbar and choose Fill Effects.
In the Fill Effects dialog, select the Picture tab, then browse to your
picture.
