Hi All,

All of the sudden my Win2000 Pro computer has started losing time. It
loses about 15 minutes for every 1 hour. The computer is left on 24/7
so the battery should not come into play (turned off during t-storms
only). The only thing I can think of is the KB931768 update. I never
had this time loss until I installed that update. Nothing I have
tried seems to make any difference.

Turning on Windows Time service has not had any effect so I turned it
back off. Does anyone have any other ideas where I can look?

Thanks for any help,

Charles

Boot the machine into the BIOS setup screen, then check if the
problem persists. If it does then it's a BIOS or battery problem.
If it disappears then it's a Windows problem.
