Drag to Highlight

I've noticed a very odd thing missing from Windows Mail. In OE6, when
cleaning out my Inbox I often sort by sender and drag across emails I'm
ready to delete which highlights them & then I click delete.

I know I can click the first one hold the "Shift" key & then select the last
one & get the same result. But I have been doing it the other way for years
& it will be a tough habit to break.

Has anyone figured out a way to drag across emails to highlight them?

I don't understand what you mean by "drag across mails". Can you give me a
step by step? What mouse buttons are down, etc?

I have the same question. When you are in the inbox for example, and wish to
select multiple entries, you can put your cursor to the left of the
from/subject line etc. and an arrow points to the subject line and then you
click once and drag down. This highligths as far down as you drag for easy
moving between folders. This feature does not appear available. Thanks in
advance for your help.

If you want to select multiple contiguous entries, select one and then hold
down the SHIFT key and then select the entry at the end of the selection
range. For non-contiguous entries, hold down the CTRL key and select the
individual entries.

Yes, I know how to do both of those features, however, being able to simply
click and drag was easier.... also something I have been doing for years
within Outlook. Old habits are hard to brake. Thanks for the response.
