Cliff

I have in the last couple of months purchased online
several songs from Walmart.com. They are in wma format. I
have tried to copy some of the songs on to my to a disk
with my computer keeping the wma format for saving disk
space. When I have tried to "drag and drop" the songs
onto the drive with my CD writer, I am getting messages
the writing to the CD highmat that the songs are write
protected. I purchased these from Walmart. It seems the
wma format will not copy on to my CD disk because it says
it is not highmat compatible. Can you tell me what the
problem is?

Thanks Cliff

Cliff, you can not drag & drop files to a CD like you would for a floppy. You must use burning software like Nero, Roxio, or you can even use Windows Media Player.
