Drag and Drop not working in Outlook.

About a week ago, my Outlook program somehow stopped allowing me to move a
word or sentence from one location to another in a new email being prepared.
I don't know if I inadvertently changed a setting or not.

How can I re-establish the drag and drop function?

Thanks for your 11/24 reply. I am new to working with discussion groups and
am not familiar with how to navigate around this program. I have searched for
the initial 11/23 question that I posted looking for your answer but am
unable to find that question or your answer.

Obviously I found your reply to my 11/24 question but not an answer. When
you get time, please give me the answer one more time.

I'm not sure how you access this newsgroup but I would recommend using
Outlook Express.

Anyway, my reply to your question was;

Not without any configuration information. My guess would be that you
disabled Word as the e-mail editor;
Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Format
