i was wondering if there is a way to find the path to the drwtsn32.log and
user.dmp files. i was hoping to see in the registry where the doctor watson
32 would record the path to the files but i did not.

i look around and there is nothing that records method to find the path to
files. did i miss a method?

i guess i could build a small search task when i attempt to retrieve the
files. i will be doing this for both local and remote machines.

the program will be written in C#.

any help would be appreciated.
 
Start up an MS-DOS command line window and run drwtsn32
That should have the settings you need.

i exclude the part where i wanted to build a program to do this. i could use
the command line but i want to automate how the path is found and collecting
of the drwtsn32.log and user.dmp files.
