Hi, I had this problem as well running Windows XP and IE 7. Actually Dr
Watson.exe is a part of Windows so I would not reccomend removing the file,
but there is a virus that mimics it with the same name (Dr. Watson) and that
is what I got and got error messages. Even with an online scan from Symantec
it was not identified as a virus. If your computer is slowing or having poor
performance perhaps that is it although I hate to say it. I paid Symantec to
remove the malware/virus. Not comforting news I know but I hope the
information is helpful. Also on the subject of viruses since Norton AV from
Symantec did not do its job I switched to NOD 32 from eset,
www.eset.com and
it is much better.
Best Regards,
